Weisses Lamm in Kelheim

We stayed there in September 2020. Since we urgently needed a place to stay and all rooms were occupied, we were accommodated in the apartment. This was very functional and very clean. Good kitchen, friendly staff, nice location.

I've never written a review, but now: if you want to eat quickly (like with Mc D.), you've come to the right place. Quickly dispatched, the carelessly cooked food (Käsespätzle in my case) is served quickly. To the question: "How did it taste?" You don't have to answer honestly, because it doesn't matter anyway ... The waitress replied to my complaint with: "Yo". Maybe an instruction from the boss? The structure of the website should be revised .... Good Appetite!

Everything went perfectly! All employees of the inn were very competent, friendly and helpful. They also responded to our special requests, which I found very accommodating. The rooms were clean, breakfast buffet plentiful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and freshly prepared. All currently applicable Corona regulations were strictly observed. Conclusion: from us the maximum number of stars.

The food was good but the room for the price ... impossible. Tasteless, cool, loveless, empty. Not even a closet. Youth hostels are still full and have more flavor.

The beer garden is more like a garage forecourt - but the lamb knuckle was delicious. Thus, the kitchen is clearly recommended.

Our room had the window to the rather busy street. Sleeping with the windows open is not possible. Otherwise a pleasant place. Rooms are neat and clean, the staff is friendly. Beer garden behind the house.

Stayed here for one night on our bike tour through the Altmühltal and along the Danube. On the morning walk through the house for breakfast you could see that our room could have been much better. Well, it was ok for one night. We also ate here in the evening. The menu was varied and we liked our food. Despite the Corona precautions and large crowds, the staff acted quickly and friendly.

Very friendly service and everything goes very quickly. The food is solid, tasty, but not outstanding. This is the right place after a day of hiking.
